Finding fall activities that embrace the fall season has been at the top of many artists' lists of things to do for years. Most often, though, harvesting these dates and locations can be a daunting task. Here are some sprinkled all over the place, much like leaves falling from the trees:
Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show: "Three days never seems to be long enough for an Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show - which will take place in your local community fall 2007. Meet over 300 artisans with more unique handmade arts and crafts than ever before. Don't miss us!" (from the site)Mountain Harvest Festival: Even though this Colorado festival has already passed, it's worth book-marking and adding to next year's list of activities.Harvest Midtown Festival: This is another that has passed in Atlanta, but worth adding to next year's list of activities.San Jose Harvest Festival: "For 35 years, Harvest Festival artisans have catered to the Peninsula's love for the avant-garde and insatiable urge to peruse unique, one-of-a-kind, handmade products." (from the site)Sacramento Harvest Festival: "Guests love strolling throughout the show sampling the delicious foods, and are encouraged to stop and talk with the artists that created the thousands of unique items." (from the site)Cultural Calendar for the Sullivan County Area: There are a LOT of events going on throughout October and November in this New York County!!There's a wide variety of events during fall for artists to embrace, and participate in. Doing a simple google search will produce more specified results for your area. Be sure to plan well in advance if participation in these events is desired. And, if travel is in your furture, be sure to search out local craft fairs and festivals to enjoy during the trip.
