I bought a bunch of old rubber stamps from a doctor's office at a resale shop....things like "X Rays Do Not Bend" and stuff that will work great for altered art. I also buy books to alter from yard sales and resale shops. I think it's an awesome way to recycle!

Wow! What a great find!!! The last "find" I made was a stack of pages from old books, music books and ledgers, plus some buttons. I really should go out and hunt more - artist date!

That's a great find, too. My mom gave me some very old music books from my grandparents (who passed away recently).

I have been buying journals at Borders at 50% off to use as altered books and altered journals. That is a good value too.
